BENGKALIS - After the implementation of New Normal in Bengkalis Regency. As many as 30 points where the crowd carried out security.

These thirty points are crowded places such as markets, Bengkalis RoRo port, Roro Rupat port and other points to break in every district in Bengkalis Regency.

Bengkalis Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Hendra Gunawan, said that for the security of 30 points, his party involved around one hundred personnel of the Polres and staff.

"The placement of our officers in public places is carried out to conduct disciplinary efforts in the application of health protocols there. With this discipline we hope that the community can get used to doing it in their daily lives," said the Chief of Police.

So far, according to the police chief, because of the discipline carried out by police and military officers in crowded areas, in this case, public awareness in implementing health protocols is quite high. Because reprimand efforts and appeals are always delivered by officers if someone does not obey them.

"Hopefully this discipline can become a habit for the people in the new normal condition at this time," said the Police Chief again.

According to him, the new order of life that was proclaimed by the central government to the community was a normal life as usual community activities continue to run. It's just that there is an obligation for every community to implement health protocols in their daily activities.
