Former Managing Director of Dirgantara Indonesia Admits to be a KPK Suspect

Former President Director of PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) Budi Santoso was named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

This was revealed by Budi himself when met by reporters after being examined by the Corruption Eradication Commission KPK, Friday (6/5/2020) night.

"Yes, (examined) as my suspect. But I do not know, it was only examined about the wealth report," said Budi.

Budi was reluctant to explain in more detail whether the case that ensnared was based on alleged bribery or the Mark up of procurement of goods and services.

According to Acting KPK Spokesperson Ali Fikri, currently it is conducting an examination of former PT DI employees and private parties for the collection of evidence related to alleged corruption in PT DI.

Previously, Ali also said that the KPK was collecting evidence related to cases in PT DI.

"Whether the KPK has set suspects in cases related to PT DI, we can say that currently the KPK is collecting evidence related to cases in PT DI," Ali Fikri said, last Monday (05/18/2020).

However, Ali claimed not to be able to convey the details of the cases and suspects referred to in the case at PT DI due to the new policy set by the leadership of the KPK.
