14 Villages in Indragiri Hilir Have No Electricity, Dani M Nursalam Urges General Manager of Riau State Electricity Company to Complete Immediately

News24xx.com - Deputy Chairman of Commission IV of the Riau Regional House of Representatives, Dani M Nursalam, urged the General Manager of the Riau Region State Electricity Company to immediately resolve the electricity problems in Indragiri Hilir.

The statement was conveyed by Dani Hearing Meeting together with the General Manager of the Riau Kepulauan Riau State Electric Company in the Riau Regional House of Representatives Building, on June, 26 2020.

"There are still 14 villages in Inhil that have not been completely electrified. This must be completed by the State Electricity Company," Dani said.

In addition, the Riau council from Inhil also asked the State Electricity Company to immediately complete the network that was already installed but has not yet functioned until now.

"I have also received reports from villages that there are cables and electricity poles already in place but work has not been continued. This must not be allowed, lest the facilities and infrastructure have simply disappeared," he added.

Not only that, Dani also asked the State Electricity Company to immediately build electricity service interruption posts in several central points. The service post is expected to function to anticipate if there are disturbances in the area.

"To accelerate the disruption of service we have proposed 8 service posts. The point is in the bay of belengkong, Lahang, Sapat, Mandah, Bekawan, Sungai Guntung, Pel Pangeran and Pulau Burung," Dani said.
