Kill 13 People and Rape 50 Women, This Murderer and Serial Rapist Was Finally Arrested

Now, Joseph James DeAngelo, the man charged with serial killings, is 74 years old. In front of the judge, he admitted his mistake. The man who was charged as the Golden State Killer claimed to have committed 13 murders and a series of other acts of violence in Sacramento.

To the judge's question in court, this Vietnam war veteran only answered briefly with short words like "yes", "no", "guilty" and "I admit". He also looks weak. DeAngelo appeared to abide by the agreement he had previously made with the public prosecutor.

The agreement was made so that the prosecutor did not charge him with a death sentence. Instead, the prosecutors tried to ensnare the former police officer with a sentence of eleven times life imprisonment.

In addition to the killing of 13 people, DeAngelo was also charged with raping around 50 women. The victims are aged between 14 to 41 years. The former police officer who was dismissed from his job in 1979 because of the theft case is also subject to a number of theft charges.
