The Regent Inaugurates Tangguh Nusantara Village in Tembilahan Hulu and Kempas

News24xx.com - The Regency Government together with Indragiri Hilir Resort Police built Kampung Tangguh Nusantara in Tembulahan Hulu District and Kempas District.

The Tangguh Nusantara village was inaugurated by Regent Inhil HM Wardan, on Thursday 9 July, as an effort to suppress the spread of Covid-19 and build community food security because, due to the virus many negative impacts experienced by most people, including weakening the economy.

"We thank you to the Riau Regional Police and Indragiri Hilir resort police who have made this program," said the Regent when inaugurating Kampung Tangguh Nusantara, in Tembilahan Barat Village, Tembilahan Hulu District, on Thursday July, 09 2020).

In addition to the place, the Regent also inaugurated the Tangguh Nusantara Village in Kempas Jaya Village, Kempas District.

He hoped that Tangguh Nusantarai Village could become a pioneer for the community to be more disciplined in implementing health protocols.

"The Tangguh village in Tembilahan Hulu and Kempas subdistricts can be an example of other villages so that all villages in the Indragiri Hilir regency do the same thing, it is good for maintaining health, preventing Covid -19 and must be resilient for the community's economy," hoped Regent Wardan .

Aside from anticipating the spread of the virus, Kampung Tangguh Nusantara also aims to create a safe and conducive situation for security and order for the community (kamtibmas). Therefore, the Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency will fully support the resilient village of the archipelago.

The formation of Kampung Tangguh Nusantara, the Regent continued as a form of synergy, togetherness between the local government, the Republic of Indonesia Police and the Indonesian National Army in realizing mutual cooperation to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Indragiri Hilir Resort Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Indra Duaman Siahaan, said Tangguh Nusantara Village, this could later be the basis for raising public awareness in preventing Covid-19.

"The public must continue to be educated on how to prevent and how to deal with it," explained the Head of the Resort Police. People who have been infected with the virus and have recovered should not be shunned let alone be discriminated against. Instead they must be given support.
