News24xx.com - The latest facts revealed in the examination of the cases of three pilots who were arrested for drug abuse methamphetamine type. The police are still continuing to investigate the three of them.

The three pilots were arrested by the South Jakarta Metro Police Satresnarkoba in Cipondoh, Tangerang City, Monday (6 July 2020). The three pilots claimed to consume meth to increase concentration.

"As I said earlier, whether they concentrate on carrying out flights or after the flight we are still investigating," South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Budi Sartono told reporters at South Jakarta Police Resort, South Jakarta, Friday (10 July).

The police are still exploring whether the concentration in question is related to the third flight activity. However, from a temporary inspection, the three denied taking methamphetamine before the flight.

The three pilots captured by the police are IP, DC, and DS. From the results of the interim examination, the police said that the three pilots consume meth when relaxed.

"The recognition, they use (meth) when relaxing at home," said South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Commissioner Commissioner Vivick Tjangkung when contacted, Sunday (12 July 2020).

The police revealed that the three pilots had long been using meth. Even from them, the police said that they had been using meth for 10 years.

"Yes, there are 10 years. (Already using methamphetamine) 10 years, 5 years, 2 years, that's their recognition," said Commissioner Vivick Tjangkung.

The police are still continuing to explore the three pilots' recognition. The police are still investigating whether other pilots are suspected of using drugs or not.
