The 8th National Library City Network National Working Meeting in 2020 is scheduled to be held on December 19-22, 2020 at Siak Sri Indrapura. The national scale activities are planned with a minimalist pattern, adjusting the shape and sequence of activities with the application of the New Normal conditions at this time.

The decree was the result of an agreement in the Meeting of the 8th National Working Meeting of the Indonesian Library City Network, which was participated by a number of Members and the Board of Presidium of the Indonesian Library City Network. "Based on the results of a joint meeting of the presidium and members of the Indonesian Library City Network, the National Working Meeting was held in Siak Sri Indrapura in December with a minimalist pattern of adjusting the Health Protocol in the current New Normal era.
