Claiming to be the HRD of the Company, A Public Transpor Driver Raped 4 Women Job Seekers

News24xx.com - Suherman, a transport driver who claimed to be a Human Resource Department (HRD) tricked 11 women who were tricked into fake job advertisements on Facebook's social media. As a result, the victims lost IDR 500,000- IDR1.5 million and was slept at the perpetrator's house.

Cimahi Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Yoris Maulana Yusuf Marzuki said the case was revealed after the victims reported to the officers. In fact, four victims were invited by intimate relations by the perpetrators in their homes to the garden.

After posting a job advertisement on Facebook's social media and claiming to be HRD, the perpetrators then established communication through WA and asked to transfer some money as a condition to be quickly accepted.

The perpetrators also asked the victims to send nude photos as a condition for a physical health test for work. Then the victim was asked for additional money while threatening the photos to be distributed on social media.

Based on the reports and statements of the victims the officers finally succeeded in arresting the perpetrator at his in-law's house in Balakasap Village, Cihampelas District, West Bandung Regency (KBB), on 30 July 2020 at around 04.00 pm.

The perpetrator acknowledged his actions and the money obtained from the victims to buy a cellphone and live every day.

For this action, the perpetrators were charged with Article 372 regarding Embezzlement, Article 378 concerning Fraud, and Article 35 of Law number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography. Perpetrators threatened with 12 years in prison.

While the perpetrators Suherman claimed to have been running the action since February 2020. When posting a job vacancy on Facebook he used a fake account and posted a photo of a woman.

"I was inspired by social media to commit this fraud. At first I only wanted to take the money, but I asked for the nude photos to have sex with the pretext to be hired," he said.
