News24xx.com - Although WannaCry had been quite long gone, but there are still the remains of victims of these ransomware.

Unmitigated, its victims are large companies, namely Honda.

In a statement, Honda was forced to stop production at the factory vehicle for a day after finding the existence of its computer network WannaCry ransomware, as quoted from Reuters on Wednesday, June 21 2017.

On Monday, June 19 2017, Honda stop production at its plant located in Sayama, Northwest of Tokyo.

In the factory Honda producing cars like the Accord, Odyssey, Stpwgn, with the amount of production per day reached 1000 units of vehicles.


A day earlier, Honda found ransomware WannaCry already infecting its computer network in Japan, North America, Europe, China, and a number of other countries.


In fact, by the middle of May 2017, Honda has taken preventive action to prevent the spread of ransomware in its network.


However, according to a Honda there is only 1 factory being hit by the ransomware. The closure of the factory only lasted a day, and already operates back the next day.

In total, there are at least 200 thousand computers in more than 150 countries are infected ransomware WannaCry.

Although Windows already patch the fissures that become the entrance of WannaCry, a security expert warned when the latest version of WannaCry could have been attacked again in the future. Ransomware is alleged to come from North Korea.
