A man who lost his eye and nose must leave a petrol station because he was scaring customers

Kirby Evans, 65-year-old is a a man who lost his eye and nose to skin cancer.  After lost his eye, he was fighting to have a normal life. Every day, he tried to had a normal activities such as go to the shop, etc.

But, tragic, one day, he was told to leave a petrol station because the way he looks was scaring customers. 

The old man was grabbed by the manager when he went to sit down at Forks Pit Stop in Walterboro, South Carolina, to eat the doughnuts and drink he just bought. The manager told him to cover his face or leave because he was scaring away other customers.

As quoted from the ABC News 4, he told, "The words that came out of her mouth hurt me so deep. How can a person eat anything with his face covered?"

After the incident, his daughter named Brandy Evans told of the incident on Facebook, and she said, "The owner grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him into her office. She told him “If he was going to eat in here he would have to cover his face”. He left and went home in tears to tell me what happened."

Kirby is a cancer survivor but he lost his eye and nose to that awful cancer. And Kirby who suffered from basal cell carcinoma, can’t afford reconstructive surgery and that he can’t wear an eye patch because his skin is so sensitive. Brady has raised £41,000 ($55,000) on GoFundMe.
 

Brandy added, "It has to stay open and nothing is to touch that area that might rub it raw."


A woman, who said she was the manager of Forks Pit Stop commented on the post saying, "I run a food service business where people dine in. I do not see absolutely anything wrong with what I did. He come in at lunch time and sit at the food booths right at my busy time every day. I have bills to pay and I work very hard to please customers."
