Thierry Henry was fired from his position as the coach of AS Monaco

News24xx.com - Thierry Henry lost his job as the coach of AS Monaco. The club’s management decided to fire him on Thursday, January 24th.

Thierry Henry is deemed to have failed in raising the performance of Monaco since taking over the coach position from Leonardo Jardim. Right now, Monaco is still in relegation zone.

The legendary Arsenal player took care of Monaco for 20 matched. Henry had to maintain 5 wins in every match.

The club’s management could no longer believe that Henry can save the club. They give the responsibility of training session to Henry’s assistant, Franck Passi.

Right now, Monaco still tries to convince Leonardo Jardim to come back to the club. Jardim left Monaco in October after a bad result.

Monaco is the first club that Thierry Henry handled. Before this, he was the assistant of Roberto Martinez in Belgium national team. He was offered to handle Aston Villa, but chose the job from Monaco in October 2018.
