The collaboration between Nissan and Mitshubishi will produce the 4 small cars for Japan's market

News24xx.com - Collaboration between Nissan and Mitsubishi continues. This time the newest car product is launched specifically for the Japanese domestic market.

There are four cars in the launching, Nissan Dayz, Dayz Higway Star, Mitsubishi eK wagon, and eK X.

The cars are developed by a joint company called NMKV and has been starting the production using Mitsubishi's factory facilities in Kurashiki, Japan.

Launching from page motoring.com, on March 16th 2019, the four cars come with a higher platform in terms of engines and new transmission systems. However, an explanation of the full specifications has not been leaked yet.

What's interesting about these four new units is they use semi-otonomos technology which is the first time applies to the small car type.

Although using the same platform along with several main components, both of them still retain their distinctive characteristics. Nissan pinned the V-Motion grill design on Dayz, while Mitsubishi adopted the Dynamic Shiel display.

Nissan and Mitsubishi will market these four units from the end of March 2019 to Japan. And related to prices, both parties have not yet provided their official statement.
