A civilian in Inhu was arrested due to burning three hectares of land

News24xx.com -  Pujo Sugiono from Rawa Sekip Village, Kuala Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu (Inhu) Regency, was arrested due to accidentally burning 3 hectares of land on Friday, July 12th. He was burning trash to plant soybean, but the fire spread and burnt the land.

“We got information from the Officer for Community Security and Order that there was land fire in Rawa Sekip Village,” said the Head of Inhu Police, Dasmin Ginting, through Public Relations Officer, Misran.

Misran said that the Head of Sector Police, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, and 5 other officers quickly came to the location after getting the report. The burnt land was the one used to plant palm trees.

After investigation, they found out Pujo to be the perpetrator. He was then arrested without a fight.
