Alumni Lists regiment Indra Heroes Ready to Support Presidential Inaugural Period 2019-2024

News24xx.com - The Student Regiment (Menwa) is one of the civilian forces trained and prepared to defend the Republic of Indonesia as the embodiment of the Universal People's Defense and Security System (Sishankamrata). Menwa is also one component of citizens who receive military training (student element).

The Menwa Unit Command Headquarters is located in universities in their respective units whose members are students or students domiciled at the campus. Menwa is a component of the national defense reserve given military science training such as the use of weapons, battle tactics, survival, skydiving, military martial arts, military gymnastics, disguises, navigation and so on.

Members of the Menwa (wira) in each college or campus form units which are part of the organization in the student activity unit (UKM). Menwa are given different powers and responsibilities from other UKM and are directly under the rector's office.

The Riau Pahlawan Indra Student Regiment is the parent unit of the Riau Province Student Regiment. This Menwa oversees units in various universities which are currently led by Indra Pomi Nasution, ST M.Sc as Regimental Commander (Danmen Indra Pahlawan Riau).

Responding to the preparations for the inauguration of the Republic of Indonesia's President and Vice President on October 20, 2019, the Student Regiment as a component of State Defense is ready to be mobilized in order to secure the inauguration of the coming President and Vice President. Menwa are ready to help the TNI and Polri if one day they are needed.

M Hafiz, one of the Riau Student Regiment alumni who is also a young entrepreneur, Monday (10/14/2019), said that the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia was a moment and a big national agenda that needed attention from all the people of Indonesia.

"All of us as components of the nation must succeed without exception. If we are united, we will become a strong nation and none of the anti-NKRI understandings can disrupt the inauguration process later," he said.
