News24xx.com - Deputy of the Meranti Islands Regent Said Hasyim, became the Trustee of the KORPRI 48th Anniversary Commemoration Year 2019, in the yard of the Meranti Regent's Office, Friday (11/29/2019). Said hopes, all KORPRI members can continue to innovate.

Said said, now the world is changing very fast. For this reason, in order not to be left behind, new breakthroughs are needed. Speed, creativity and innovation are key.

"The old monotonous, non-competitive ways cannot be continued. For that reason, I invite all members of KORPRI to continue to innovate, carry out continuous reforms. There is no longer an old mindset. Bureaucracy must change quickly to adapt to change," he said.

Said also emphasized that complicated, convoluted and difficult services for the people must be trimmed. Speed ??of service is the key to bureaucratic reform. Bureaucracy orientation must really change, no longer procedure oriented, but more oriented towards real results.

"The task of the bureaucracy is to ensure that the people are well served and that development programs truly benefit the people," he said.

Because, according to him, serving is not enough, the services provided must be good and balanced with ease and speed. With advances in technology, the bureaucratic work must also change. Technological innovation must be able to make things easier, not make things difficult.
