Regent Alfedri Conveyed Three Important Points Related to Development Achievements

Siak Regent Alfedri chaired the Public Consultation Forum Meeting for the Initial Design of the Siak Regency RKPD in 2021, which was also concatenated with the launching of the 2020 Population Census Activity, in the Raja Indra Pahlawan Meeting Room of the Siak Regent Office,on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

On this occasion, the Siak leader conveyed the exposure of the Public Consultation Forum Agenda for the Initial Design of the Siak Regency RKPD in 2021, with the theme 'Improving the Quality of Religious and Malay-Cultured HR'. The activity was also attended by the Chairperson Siak Council of Azmi, Acting Regional Secretary of Siak Regency Jamaludin, OPD Leaders, Sub-District Heads of Siak Regency, and community leaders.

The 3 agendas presented by the Regent Alfedri in his exposures include, the development of Siak Regency development achievements, development priorities in 2021, and development targets in 2021.

In the point of regional development achievements in Siak Regency, Regent Alfedri also explained a number of things related to the economic growth data of Siak Regency.

"Regional economic growth has increased from the oil and gas and non oil and gas sectors, and inflation has stabilized at a low level. Seen from the Human Development Index (HDI) of Siak Regency continues to increase and has entered the high category. Siak's HDI is the second highest in Riau Province after Dumai City, with an achievement of 73.73 in 2018, "he explained.

Alfedri continued, the percentage of poor people in Siak Regency in 2018 was 5.44%, which was lower than the previous year. The poverty rate of Siak Regency is also below the percentage of poor people in Riau Province of 7.39%.

"Siak Regency development priority agenda in 2021 include improving the quality of education, improving the quality of public health, developing tourism, increasing basic infrastructure, environmental preservation, improving strategic areas (agricultural areas, tourism and KITB, and improving public services," he continued.

Regarding the development target agenda of 2021, the Regent Alfedri on the occasion also explained a number of points expected in the future, including the Human Development Index (HDI) with a value of 74.48, a poverty rate of 4.5 percent - 5 percent, economic growth of 1 - 1.5 percent, Inflation 2 - 3 percent, as well as the open unemployment rate of 3-4 percent.
