News24xx.com -  Valentino Rossi's contract with Yamaha will end in 2018 and it's touted as the end of his journey in MotoGP. But, Rossi is alleged to have extended the contract until 2019.


Rossi's career in the world of grand prix racing for 22 years with the first time down in 125cc class. Until now, the Italian rider has won nine world titles with seven of them achieved in the premier class.


That Yamaha rider that will be 39 years old on February 16, 2018 later. Although his age is not young, Rossi has not signaled to retire even though his contract will expire in next season.

Previously, Rossi has often been asked about his future. He even admitted to fear if retired, because he believe that his life becomes very boring.


Related to the future of Rossi, Carlo Pernat as top observers of MotoGP believes The Doctor will continue to race at least until 2019.


"I'm sure that Valentino has signed for a new contract in 2019. Valentino is really afraid to retire and he decided to retire just when he really cannot do any racing," said Pernat as quoted from GPOne.


"Rossi is always trained to competing for physically and mentally like a young rider, I think he will end his career with Yamaha and then have a future with the VR46 team in MotoGP," he said.
