Considered to insulting of Islam, Joshua Suherman do this on his Instagram account

News24xx.com -  A case that used religion as material for jokes in Stand Up Comedy is still be a contradiction in Indonesia.

Especially after the comedians named Ge Pamungkas and Joshua Suherman makes religion as material for a joke that is considered to insulting of Islam.

Even, since the video of stand up by Joshua and Ge Pamungkas being viral, both of them now rarely to share their activities on social media.

Though Joshua is also known as an artist in his childhood that most often post his photos or activities on his Instagram account. From monitoring of News24xx.com from the Instagram account of Joshua, the last post that he share in his account is a photo about the death of Yon Koeswoyo on January 6, 2017.

Not only that, Joshua Suherman is also turn off the comment column in his Instagram account.

Forum Umat Islam Bersatu (FUIB) was known to have reported of Joshua Suherman to police. Because, one of Joshua's material for joke is considered to insulting of Islam.

In a separate place, Ernest Prakarsa who also a comedian in Stand Up Comedy Indonesia and who also work as a director also gives a commented about the case of Joshua and Ge Pamungkas.

For Ernest, any comedian or other social media activist should know that what is write or spoken, must be prepared for the consequences.

"We can say anything, but we must ready for responsibility. We must be prepared for the impact of what we say," Ernest told to reporters, recently.
