News24xx.com -  Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) recorded two hotspots re-detected on the island of Sumatra on Sunday, January 21, 2018.

The hotspots were observed in two provinces namely West Sumatra and Riau.

As submitted by Head of Section (Kasi) BMKG Information Station Pekanbaru, Slamet Riyadi.

"There are two hotspots that detected in Sumatra, one hotspot in West Sumatra and one hotspot in Indragiri Hulu, Riau," he said.


But, the hotspot with a confidence level above 70 percent does not exist. So, it can not makes the weather disturbance such as smog. While the weather during the day tends to be cloudy.

"And the potential of rain will occured in Bengkalis, Dumai, and Meranti," he said.


While the temperature of the air during the day is not too hot, just 33 degrees. With air humidity around 55 - 98 percent and the west wind up to the North is about 09 - 27 km / hour.
