The story of a transgender from Texas who turn herself become a dragon and was diagnosed with HIV

News24xx.com -  Have you ever thought about changing your body shape? Maybe, to change it to be more better, definitely yes.

But what happens, if the body changes that you do, will make you shunned because the shape was very strange ?

And what happens in the mind of a person when they decide to undergo a radical change of image?  Body modification was already popular in many ancient cultures, and today it exists as a wide range of changes that can make the appearance of your body change completely, including something as small as an ear piercing, or something as exaggerated as a Dermal implant or even removal of the ear. 

Eva Tiamat Baphhomet Medusa, known to some as "the dragon woman", is included in that extreme category. Eva Tiamat, who was born in 1961 as a man and named Richard Hernández.

Then, when she was teen, she decided to be a transgender, and has spent the last 20 years undergoing extensive modifications to look like a dragon. 

Tiamat has cost about USD 60,000 (about IDR 810 hundred million) for her transformation to pays homage to her parents, whom she considers reptiles for having abandoned her when she was a child.

In past, after born by her mother in an area of ?Phoenix, she was left by her biological mother and her stepfather in the forest. Then, she was take care by many reptils such as rattlesnakes.

"All my transformation today is basically an honor to my reptilian parents, who are rattlesnakes, typical of the western part of the country."  said Tiamat, who now lives in Texas.

For her transformation, she made horns that similar with rattlesnakes. Her ears were excised; remodeled and extracted the nasal cartilage and the septum.

She also removed the white from her eyes, tattooed the entire body, and inserted some implants along the eyebrows.  She did her transformation with  a body modification artist who has partnered with several tattoo studios and modification procedures, Emilio González. And Tiamat claimed, for all transformation that she did, she can breathe easily and have not had any complications with her modifications.

Eva Tiamat decided to share her experience in some interviews with some photos of her appearance before her extreme transformation.

Although Richard considers herself a woman, she has not undergone the full gender change operation yet.  Tiamat also said that the reaction to her appearance is very positive. 

But a few years ago, Tiamat got bad news. The doctor said that  she was diagnosed people with HIV. And now, her priority in life want to raise awareness about HIV.

The dragon woman now lives in Edja, Texas, and says she is dedicated to making cotton candy for local children, so they are not afraid with her as people with HIV.
