Damaged banner of Riau governor candidates has not been fixed, observer said KPU should care

News24xx.com -Thursday, April 19th, 2018, a number of banners of candidate for governor of Riau until now still damaging. As at Kubang Raya street, Kampar seen some banners that lost and damaged are not being fixed yet.

 

While the Riau Election Commission (KPU) has declared a broken banner is not its responsibility. It is based on Article 30 PKPU. 4/2017, essentially contains the rule that candidate pair is responsible for maintenance, and cleaning of APK (Campaign Tools).

 

As is known there are four pairs of candidates in gubernatorial election of Riau, which are Syamsuar-Edy Natar (PKS, PAN, Nasdem) serial number 1. Then Lukman Edy-Hardianto (Gerindra, PKB) number 2, Firdaus MT-Rusli Efendi (Democrat, PPP) number 3, and Arsyadjuliandi Rachman-Suyatno (PDIP, Golkar, PKPI, Hanura).

 

Nevertheless, observers of Riau political communication, Aidil Haris said the KPU can not just get off. "Now the banners are damaged and lost" said Lecturer at the Communication Faculty of UMRI, "Why do not have any initiatives, such as contacting the candidates, in order to replace the damaging tools, if it is not KPU, the one who should responsible?"
