Two police officers in Florida being shot to death

News24xx.com - Two police officers, Taylor Lindsey 25 year-old and Noel Ramirez 29 year-old were shot dead from outside of a Chinese restaurant in which they were eating at the moment. The police department has not known why this happened.

The incident happened in the small town of Trenton. The suspect, John Hubert Highnote 59 year-old, who came from small town of Bell, died at the crime scene. The police is still investigating the motive of the shooting, but considering how people demonize law enforcement these days, it could be anything.

Gilchrist County Sheriff, Bobby Schultz said that law enforcements has been demonized so much that they got every type of “hate” when all they are trying to do is protect the civilians. “The only thing these men were guilty of is wanted to protect you and me” he said as cited from BBC.

Ramirez left behind a wife and two young children while Lindsay left behind a girlfriend.

Highnote was found dead inside a vehicle outside of the restaurant. He appeared to have killed himself with a gun and so, the killing of the two officers was inexplicable. Schultz called Highnote a “coward”. As cited from BBC, he said “It appears he just walked up and shot them, then went to his car and shot himself. People will want to know why and we may never have an answer from him”

There is little that is known about Highnote. He was accused of carrying a weapon in 1978 and had minor traffic violations in 2012.
