Trump resists to give up his phones to get check up for security reason

As a head of state, and the superpower one such as the United States should always follow all the security protocols, including about the communication tool in the form of a smartphone. However, US president, Donald Trump reportedly refused to comply with the country's security protocol.

Trump currently using two iPhones. One iPhone is used to make phone calls, while the other to open Twitter and read news. Both phones are also issued by the White House Information Technology agency and the White House Communications Agency.

Supposedly, Trump should give his iPhone routinely every month. However, according to a report from Politico, as quoted from The Verge, Tuesday, May 22nd 2018, Trump refused to give his iPhones.

The reason is simple, Trump think of it as something too much troublesome. So the president has reportedly been using his iPhones for Twitter for five months since being reviewed by security experts.

In fact, when Barack Obama served as president, he obediently followed the security protocol and let the White House phone was checked every 30 days. This is of course to make sure the phones stay safe.

For additional information, the iPhone Trump used for calling still has a camera and a microphone in it, where this poses a risk of wiretapping and so on. Although the White House has removed the GPS feature of the Trump phone.
