Fans were recently shocked by the release of a teaser for the latest drama, F4 Thailand.

As is well known, the drama is a remake of METEOR GARDEN and BOYS BEFORE FLOWERS.

F4 Thailand will feature a lineup of up-and-coming Thai actors, namely Bright Vachirawit as Thyme, Win Metawin as Kavin, Dew Jirawat as Ren and Nani Hirunkit as MJ. Meanwhile young actress Tu Tontawan will portray Gorya, the female lead character in the drama.

The name F4 Thailand also became a trending topic on Twitter, because two of the players had acted as a couple in the drama 2GETHER: THE SERIES. Bright and Win are famous for their roles in the drama 2gether and its sequel, Still2gether. Dew is known as a model in Thailand.

Slated for release in 2021, the Thai version of Boys Over Flowers is produced by Thai independent creative and production company Parbdee, whose projects include the critically-acclaimed drama The Gifted.

Here is a line of Thai F4 characters that you must know before watching.

1. Thyme
   Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree will play the main character named Thyme. He is known to have the character of a cool guy and is the center of the group. Unfortunately, he has a character who is arrogant, angry, and rude.
   Previously this character was played by Jerry Yan who played Dao Ming Shi (Taiwanese version), Dylan Wang as Dao Ming Shi (Chinese version), and Lee Min Ho as Gu Jun Pyo (Korean version).
2. Kavin
   Next is Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn who plays Kavin. His character is described as a playboy boy full of charisma and romance.
   Previously this character, who was formerly named Ximen, was played by Ken Chu, Caesar Wu, and Kim Bum.
3. MJ
   MJ is described as a guy with a mix of elegant, cool, and gentle. Surely this character immediately makes you fall in love because it’s rare for a guy to have this trait.
   Vannes Wu, Connor Leong, and Kim Joon have played this character. As for the Thai version, this character is played by Nani Hirunkit Changkham.
4. Ren
   Ren’s character is described as someone who is cold, quiet, friendly, and likes to help the female lead. Actor Dew Jirawat Sutivanisak will play a role in bringing out this character.
   This character has been played by Vic Chou, Darren Chen, and Kim Hyun Joong.
5. Gorya
   Last but not least, there is a female lead named Gorya. Previously this character was played by Barbie Hsu, Shen Yue, and Go Hye Sun.
   She is described as a cheerful and unyielding girl even though her friends often oppress her. In the Thai version, this character will be played by Tontawan Tantivejakul.
